Excellent product. Been using for months now and extremely satisfied. Initially received package had the descaling liquid spilled inside however it was promptly replaced. The milk frothing works really well — perfect for making cappuccinos with nice, creamy foam.I’ve used coffee beans from Starbucks, Lavazza, and Coffee Island, and all are fully compatible with this machine. The espresso quality is consistently good.It’s easy to clean, easy to maintain, and very user-friendly. Just note that it makes one glass at a time, which is fine for personal or small household use. Also, it needs proper cleaning of the coffee holding filter.Overall, very satisfied with the purchase!

Been using this product for more than a week now and couldn't be more happier with the product and Delonghi's service so far. Delonghi was quick to arrange for a demo as soon as the product got delivered. For coffee lovers and daily caffeine needs, this is a goto product at this price range.The only disadvantage with the product is the steam wand length..Had the length been a little more bigger, could have made it a 10/10 product!

With a bit of practice, you can get smooth microfoam suitable for basic latte art. It heats up quickly and is convenient for daily use.If you’re serious about coffee and want to get the most out of the machine, I highly recommend upgrading to a bottomless portafilter. It gives you better extraction feedback and can noticeably improve shot quality. That said, the stock pressurized portafilter is perfectly fine for beginners and works well, especially if you’re using pre-ground coffee.Overall, the Dedica EC685 is a great value machine, ideal for beginners and intermediate home baristas who want solid espresso without spending a fortune.

This is my first espresso machine. The product arrived very well packaged and I did get a very good online demo from the DeLonghi team, which was very helpful to get started. From what I understand so far, one has to go through some trial and errors to adjust the bean amount, grind size, tamping pressure and so on. So far I have been able to pull pretty decent shots with a reasonable amount of crema and the steam wand does a good job as well. What I did notice is that the two cup basket can take in about 10 gms of powder to produce a decent espresso. If I put in more and tamp accordingly, the water output is very less, regardless of what I do. This is not necessarily a problem, but is a constraint on the output volume. I am hoping to obtain a bottomless portafilter which should allow me to put in 14 gms of coffee powder, and should allow me to extract a higher volume. But overall I am very satisfied with the machine as well as with the service team.

It is a superb product by itself. And at this price, it is just perfect.First, the coffee is amazing (I'd recommend to get a grinder separately and grind the beans fresh every time). With a few simple steps, I get perfect coffee, with great crema, flavour, and everything else.It is very simple to use, just a few steps to this great coffee.It has some customisation (hardness, volume of coffee and so on), although I have not really changed anything.It looks fabulous with the gleaming stainless steel ... and yet it occupies very little space on the kitchen tabletop.The company has a local setup, offering consumables (e.g. descaler) and service if required.What is there not to recommend?!!!!
